Traditional African Healer

I am an initiated, and practicing traditional healer based in the south of Johannesburg Gauteng in Southern Africa.

Having been born and bred in the deep rural areas of Pietermaritzburg Southern Africa - my values, principals, discipline, work ethic as well as drive stem from the rich cultural background of healing and from a very much cultural and traditional family and community.

I firmly believe that African Indigenous Knowledge Systems, cultural and self-awareness can help restore communities and bring back the dignity of not only Africa but South Africa.

Not only do I believe our culture and traditions can address societal ills in the country, but I also believe addressing the historic trauma of our ancestors can help remind Africans about principles such as Ubuntu, particularly in the precarious times we find ourselves in. I activist advocating for the awakening of the black people, starting with topics such as childhood trauma and Umsamo where in my experience of over 16 years, discusses how the disintegration of the African family has become the breeding ground for spiritually underdeveloped, hurt, lost, poverty-stricken, violent and hopeless communities also helping in bringing much-needed peace in countries which are currently faced with religious wars such as Congo, South Sudan and Ethiopia.

My field of practice is focused but not limited to traditional healing, fixing Umsamo, fixing ancestral and bloodline trauma as well as healing of the inner child through Psychology.

Currently -Using traditional African Medicine to interweaving communities and bridging cultures –

  • Speaking to Wisdom keepers, indigenous communities, visionaries, spiritualists, and solutionaries of all traditions across the African continent to inspire and ignite a deeper understanding of how we can come together as a united force, fighting to bring back the dignity of our PEOPLE as a PEOPLE.
  • Strive for indigenous tribes, groups, and cultures who are either extinct or close too to have a voice where they can be heard and preserved. Fight to restore communities, natural healing spaces such as rivers, mountains, caves, waterfalls and the ocean’s.
  • Tackle crucial issues suppressing the young Black youth and the current struggles that they face.
  • Bridge the gap between education and lack of information as well as transformation amongst our villages, cities and townships.
  • Living harmoniously as we support each other in the creation of the world we want to see – an equitable and thriving world.
  • Using traditional African medicine to heal those who have been impacted by the war. Helping in being a part of the peace treaty council for the plight for peace in war-stricken countries, providing much wisdom, healing, being a mediator as well as a counselor for these religious wars currently taking place.

My greatest belief - abandon all effort...

“Find the silence beyond thoughts. Then simply remain. The rest will happen naturally, and the body will dissolve into light...”
